Nollywood firebrand Tonto Dikeh has sent shockwaves across social media after issuing a fierce warning to a TikTok user allegedly impersonating her and scamming unsuspecting fans.
In a viral video message, the actress revealed that a female impersonator has been posing as her on TikTok, using her name and stolen content to extort money from people while pretending to be the real Tonto.
Visibly upset, the outspoken star made it clear that this was no empty threat. According to her, security agencies are already on the case and the impersonator is being closely monitored.
“I know you’re a girl. We are tracking you, and the police are involved,” Tonto said bluntly.
She accused the suspect of reposting her videos, not as a fan, but as a fake version of herself, misleading fans into sending money under false pretenses.
What truly set tongues wagging was Tonto’s chilling warning:
“If I catch you, nobody will save you. Not social media, not noise. Only Jesus can save you — because you will go to jail.”
The actress emphasized that she is not the type to bow to online pressure or pity, stressing that she will push the matter legally until justice is served, regardless of public sentiment.
The video has since sparked heated reactions online, with fans applauding her stance while others debated the growing menace of celebrity impersonation scams on TikTok and other platforms.
One thing is clear: Tonto Dikeh is not playing this time.
