All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant George Bolujoko has withdrawn from the 2027 governorship race in Kwara State. Mr. Bolujoko subsequently declared his support for another APC aspirant, Dr. Azeez Salako Muyideen Olaniyi.
Both Bolujoko and Olaniyi are from the Kwara South senatorial district.
