Fresh family drama has erupted around BBNaija Season 8 winner Ilebaye Odiniya after her father allegedly opened up about their troubled relationship following her rise to fame.

In an alleged voice recording, the father reportedly said he expected his daughter to publicly appreciate the people who stood by their family during her journey to stardom, but she allegedly refused.
He further claimed that after becoming famous, the reality TV star began ignoring family guidance, especially concerning her spending habits and personal decisions.
The father also alleged that their conversations often ended in heated arguments whenever he tried correcting or advising her. According to him, things became so tense that maintaining peace between them became increasingly difficult.
He additionally claimed he warned her about certain lifestyle choices, including cosmetic enhancement procedures, but felt his concerns were constantly dismissed.
In one of the most shocking parts of the allegation, he narrated an incident where a serious disagreement reportedly turned physical, leaving him injured after attempting to confront her over issues affecting the family.
He also expressed disappointment over what he described as excessive spending, saying he encouraged her to invest in long-term projects that could benefit both the family and society, but claimed his advice was ignored.
The emotional father further alleged that her influence negatively affected her younger brother’s behaviour and academics, adding that he had repeatedly raised concerns without success.
Despite the controversy, he said he still hopes for reconciliation and prayed for positive changes in their relationship.
