Reality TV star Tacha has raised concern among fans after revealing she recently fell seriously ill following a trip to Port Harcourt.
Taking to her Instagram page, the former Big Brother Naija housemate shared a video of herself receiving medical treatment, including drips, while opening up about her health condition.
According to Tacha, she was diagnosed with both Malaria and Typhoid, which left her weak, unable to eat properly, and struggling to move.
In her words, she questioned the situation, saying she wasn’t sure “what is in the air,” as she disclosed that she and a friend also fell sick after being in Port Harcourt.
Despite her condition, Tacha revealed she still pushed herself to attend church, emphasizing her faith and resilience during the difficult moment.
Her post reads in part: “Not sure what’s in the air, but I was diagnosed with malaria and typhoid… haven’t been able to properly eat and move… been so down.”
Her revelation comes amid a wave of health scares among Nigerian celebrities in recent times. Actors and entertainers like Rotimi Salami, Brodashaggi, Sarah Martins, Omoni Oboli, Portable, Yomi Gold, and Mustapha Sholagbade have all recently shared personal health challenges or near-death experiences.
Fans have since flooded social media with well wishes, hoping for Tacha’s quick recovery as conversations grow around health, stress, and lifestyle among public figures.
