
Economist, banker, and former presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, has joined the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC). In a statement released on Sunday by his Media Office, Hayatu-Deen, who contested the 2022 PDP presidential primaries, cited worsening insecurity, rising cost of living, and what he described as a shrinking democratic space in Nigeria.
