Trouble for Blessing CEO as Nigerian Medical Association, Delta State, Clarifies Cancer Claim

The Nigerian Medical Association (Delta State Branch) has debunked claims made by relationship therapist Blessing CEO regarding her alleged breast cancer diagnosis.

In a press statement, Dr. Odigwe, the doctor Blessing claimed diagnosed her, denied issuing any medical report to her. He also clarified that he resides in Asaba, not Enugu as Blessing had stated.

The Association further confirmed that the medical report Blessing presented actually belonged to another patient, Mbara Deborah, and called for authorities to intervene to protect the public.

During previous interviews, Blessing had shared a video claiming she was battling stage 4 breast cancer and had requested donations from Nigerians, reportedly raising N13 million. She later admitted exaggerating details about her condition, saying she relied on what she was told by the doctor.

Following the backlash and accusations of forgery, Blessing deactivated her Instagram account. Her partner, IVD, also removed his account from the platform.
