Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya and her husband, Bola Oyinadejobi, are celebrating a miracle. At their baby’s naming ceremony, Bola opened up about their long and emotional journey to parenthood, revealing that doctors had once told them they would never have another child.
“Sometimes, a doctor’s report is not God’s report,” Bola said passionately. “Even when we were close to giving up, God intervened.” He credited God’s intervention and the support of his wife’s colleague, Biola Bayo, for turning their story around.
The journey to this joyous day was far from easy. Toyosi endured four surgeries, with the last one almost claiming her life. Yet through it all, the couple remained steadfast, relying on faith and each other.
Family, friends, and Nollywood stars flocked to celebrate their newborn daughter. Odunlade Adekola brought smiles with his heartwarming visit, while Peju Ogunmola offered gifts, sharing an emotional connection as she cradled the baby. Muyiwa Ademola even sent N200,000 directly to the newborn’s account, marking the first gift for the little girl.
Toyosi herself reflected on her decade-long struggle to conceive. From failed IVF treatments, laparoscopy, and dye tests, to selling gold jewelry to fund procedures, she endured heartbreak after heartbreak. Yet, she remained grateful, noting that every setback brought her closer to this blessing.
Their story is a testament to faith, resilience, and the power of unwavering support. What doctors said was impossible, God made possible — and the joy in the Adesanyas’ home is proof.
