A Nigerian lady has sparked massive online reactions after sharing a painful reality many workers know too well — waking up by 4 a.m. and still getting stuck at the bus stop.
In a viral video, the visibly frustrated woman revealed that she leaves home before dawn every day in a desperate attempt to beat traffic and arrive at work on time. But instead of relief, she meets the same crushing scene: endless queues, tired faces, and no buses in sight.
According to her, by the time she reaches the bus stop, it’s already overcrowded with workers who also sacrificed sleep, all hoping a bus would show up. Hours pass, frustration builds, and punctuality becomes almost impossible — even after doing “everything right.”
She questioned why Nigerians are forced to wake up before daylight just to earn a living, yet still endure the same transport chaos daily. Her emotional plea called on the government to step up and provide adequate, reliable public buses for commuters who keep the economy running.
The video has since struck a nerve online, with many workers sharing similar stories of exhaustion, lateness, and silent suffering.
For thousands of 9–5 Nigerians, the workday doesn’t start at the office — it starts at 4 a.m., in a queue, praying for a bus. 🚌😔
