‘Leave My Kids Out of This’: Iyabo Ojo Fires Legal Warning at Baba Ijesha

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has issued a strong warning to fellow actor Baba Ijesha, demanding that he stop involving her children in his public statements following a recent interview.

The dispute began after Baba Ijesha, during a conversation with actress Biola Bayo, spoke about past allegations against him and referenced Iyabo Ojo’s reaction at the time. He claimed he once supported her family, expressing disappointment that she did not stand by him when the controversy emerged.

Reacting via her Instagram story, Iyabo Ojo firmly rejected his claims and instructed him to cease and desist from mentioning her children. She clarified that her kids were never left unattended, noting they were always under the care of nannies or her late mother.

While acknowledging his right to share his version of events, she accused him of spreading misleading narratives and warned that dragging her children into the issue would not be tolerated. She also stressed that the matter at the center of the controversy involved a minor and should be treated with seriousness.

Iyabo further pointed out that the court had already ruled on the case based on available evidence, urging Baba Ijesha to show accountability rather than revisiting the issue in a way that could distort public perception.

She concluded by stating that any further mention of her children could lead to legal action, emphasizing her readiness to involve her legal team if necessary.

The exchange has reignited public discussion around the long-standing case, as well as broader concerns about responsibility, public narratives, and the impact of such disputes on families.
