Nigerian pastor Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa has poured out praise for his superstar wife, Mercy Chinwo, describing her as a global superstar, kingdom general, and full package.
Sharing a playful video of his wife, Pastor Blessed said,
“Grace too fresh abeg!!! No cap, serve God well; He will give you your exact spec. See my own. Too fine, too anointed, global superstar, kingdom general, full package. My Wife, My Artist. Any weapon wey show, na me go face am straight.”
The clergyman also reflected on Mercy’s remarkable journey in gospel music. Since winning Nigerian Idol in 2012, she remained committed to God despite having opportunities to go secular—a decision that demanded patience and obedience for four years.
The couple tied the knot in a star-studded wedding on August 12–13, 2022, in Port Harcourt, with celebrities like Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Waje, Chigurl, and Joe Praiz in attendance.
In August 2025, they celebrated their third wedding anniversary and welcomed their second child, a baby girl, joining their first child, a baby boy born in October 2023. Pastor Blessed highlighted that Mercy’s life proves “one with God is a majority”, praising her for gracefully rising above challenges and negativity while staying devoted to her calling and family.
