Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has shared the emotional struggle of promoting her upcoming movie Efunroye The Unicorn following the recent passing of her mother.

In an Instagram post, Faithia revealed that while she is back on set and working, her heart still feels heavy:

“Seated here, heart still heavy from saying goodbye to Mum. Some days the weight keeps me still, no words, no energy. But something inside whispers: keep going, create anyway, share anyway. Because stopping would mean the light mum gave goes out too.”

Despite the grief, Faithia is determined to continue her craft. She officially returned to work after the burial, describing the past weeks as deeply emotional and thanking the public for their support during her loss.

Her mother passed away just before her 55th birthday, and the family has chosen to shift a larger celebration of her life to next year to honor her properly. This loss follows Faithia’s earlier heartbreak in April 2024, when she lost her father.
