The Nigerian music scene is in chaos right now as shocking allegations and savage reactions fly left, right, and center!
It all started when fast-rising singer Crayon allegedly went off in a series of explosive posts, calling out his former boss Don Jazzy and the powerhouse label Mavin Records.
In the now-deleted rant, Crayon didn’t hold back — making heavy accusations about unpaid royalties and even linking the situation to personal tragedy. The claims sent shockwaves across social media, with fans divided and confused.

But just when things couldn’t get messier, music producer Samklef jumped into the drama — and he came in HOT.
Samklef stirred the pot further by suggesting that things started going downhill for Don Jazzy’s camp after his association with controversial activist VeryDarkMan. According to him, the label’s artists haven’t been thriving like before, hinting at possible “karma” at play.
He didn’t stop there — he even threw subtle shade at Mavin’s golden girl Ayra Starr, claiming she looked stressed in a recent appearance, fueling even more speculation online.
As expected, the internet exploded. Some fans backed Crayon’s outburst, while others defended Don Jazzy’s long-standing reputation in the industry.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time royalty disputes have rocked the Nigerian music space. From Laycon calling out DJ Neptune, to Harrysong dragging Kcee over unpaid dues, and even producer Napji pointing fingers at Davido — the pattern is becoming hard to ignore.
For now, Don Jazzy has remained silent, but one thing is clear: this drama is far from over.
And if history has taught us anything, when the music industry starts talking like this… more secrets are about to spill.
