Former Lagos transport union leader Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, is celebrating his 51st birthday with gratitude and reflection on life.
Sharing a video of himself dancing on social media, the former chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Lagos expressed appreciation to Allah for life, protection, and guidance over him and his family.
According to him, every stage of his journey — including challenges, tests, and victories — has strengthened his faith and gratitude.
“Today, I celebrate another year of life, and my heart is filled with gratitude to Almighty Allah,” he wrote.
The transport leader also used the moment to reflect on lessons life has taught him over the years. One key lesson, he noted, is that not everyone who appears friendly truly has good intentions.
“Life has taught me many lessons. One of them is that not everyone who smiles with you truly wishes you well.”
Despite such experiences, MC Oluomo said he believes divine protection has always been stronger than the plans of those who may secretly wish him harm.
He also prayed for more wisdom, good health, and strength to continue serving humanity as he enters a new chapter of his life.
