Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly apologised to comedian Akpororo for threatening to release intimate videos involving him.
In an Instagram post, Ogala said her comments were made in the heat of anger and asked for forgiveness for any misunderstanding caused.
The disagreement reportedly began when Akpororo advised Ogala to resolve a public feud with pastor Chris Okafor privately, cautioning that online overexposure might portray her as overreacting. Ogala, however, felt that Akpororo did not fully understand her situation and accused him of hypocrisy, suggesting his counsel was influenced by benefits received from Okafor. She further threatened to expose alleged past misconduct if he continued intervening.
Akpororo denied any wrongdoing and challenged her to provide evidence of the alleged video.
Ogala later retracted her statements, writing:
“I tender my sincere apology to Akpororo. Whatever I said was said in anger. Any misconception it must have caused, please find it in your heart to forgive.”
