Nollywood actor Nosa Rex recently had a heartwarming moment on set after receiving a sweet gesture from veteran actress Omotola Ekeinde.
In a video circulating online, Omotola gifted the actor flowers and lauded him for his uplifting energy and positive vibes during the filming of her production, A Mother’s Love. She revealed that the set had been stressful, especially since it was her first time directing, and working with Nosa Rex had helped ease her tension.

“There is something about Rex; he brings these positive vibes and energy. He has the spirit of not worrying over things. This was my first ever film that I was directing. I was really tense; I was trying to be perfect, but everything wasn’t, and it was falling apart. One of the times I enjoyed the set was when he came,” Omotola said.
The actor, visibly touched and blushing, responded appreciatively, “I don’t know what to say. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.”

Beyond this tender moment, Nosa Rex has been vocal about the challenges and toxicity of social media, emphasizing how fame can be a double-edged sword. He has also expressed concerns over unsafe practices on Nollywood sets. Following the tragic death of actor Junior Pope, Nosa recounted a heated disagreement with a director over unsafe stunts. He made it clear that he would never perform dangerous acts, such as diving into a river, even for a huge payment.
Industry colleagues, including Yvonne Jegede, Ini Edo, and Sarah Martins, have publicly called for better regulation and safety on film sets, citing the recent deaths and accidents that could have been prevented with proper precautions.
Nosa Rex’s recent recognition by Omotola not only highlights his professionalism and positive influence on set but also underscores the importance of supportive collaborations in Nollywood productions. 🎬💐
