Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has stirred conversations online after celebrating International Women’s Day without mentioning his wife, Iyana Aduke.
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared photos of his mother and daughters, describing them as the remarkable women who inspire him. In his message, Adebayo praised their strength, resilience, and positive influence in his life.
“Today I celebrate strength, grace, brilliance and the undeniable impact of women… To the beautiful and illustrious women in my life, the ones who inspire, nurture and uplift – thank you for the light you bring into my world.”
However, fans quickly noticed that his wife, Iyana Aduke, was absent from the tribute, which sparked renewed speculation about the status of their marriage.
The couple had previously faced rumours of a marital crisis after reportedly unfollowing each other on social media. Earlier reports also linked Aduke to controversy when her eatery in Yaba was allegedly sealed over an unpaid bank loan.
In the past, Aduke had hinted at challenges in the marriage through posts on social media. She also publicly accused actress Olatoun Olanrewaju of contributing to issues in her relationship with Adebayo—an allegation the actress denied.
Despite previous signs that the couple might reconcile after sharing family moments online late last year, Adebayo’s latest Women’s Day post has once again fueled discussions among fans about the true state of their relationship. 💭
