Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi is overjoyed as she celebrates a major milestone — her son’s first birthday.
The proud mother shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, expressing disbelief that her little one has already turned one. She also called on followers to pray for her son, @babykenechukwuofficial, and encouraged well-wishers to send gifts.
“Just like that… I’m a mother of a one-year-old. I can’t keep calm,” she wrote, reflecting on the emotional journey of motherhood.
Chizzy’s son was born prematurely and spent time in the incubator, an experience she shared candidly with fans. She attributed her child’s survival and health to God’s faithfulness, affirming that those who trust Him will never be put to shame.
The actress and her husband, Chike Mbah, previously dedicated their son to God in October, hosting a lavish reception attended by stars like Rita Dominic, Nancy Isime, Charles Okocha, and Uche Elendu. Chizzy described the dedication as a dream come true and proof that God answers prayers.
Earlier, in December, the couple celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary and marked their first as parents. Chizzy reflected on the challenges of marriage and parenthood but expressed immense gratitude for her family, noting that her son “made everything perfect.”
