The award-winning singer recently shared glimpses from his romantic getaway to Hawaii with his wife, Chioma Adeleke, and from the looks of it, the couple is fully locked into vacation mode.
From stepping off a sleek private jet to thrilling zip-lining adventures, the duo appeared carefree and loved-up. In one clip, Davido and Chioma competed mid-air, while another showed Chioma bravely zip-lining solo — even though she looked slightly terrified.
And yes, fans couldn’t help but notice the timing.
The tropical escape comes amid reports that Sophia Momodu’s lawyer, Bella Chukwu, has filed a N1 billion lawsuit against the singer over alleged cyberbullying, defamation, harassment, and threat to life. The legal team is reportedly demanding a public retraction and apology.
But if Davido is feeling the heat, he’s not showing it.
Instead, he’s doubling down on love and soft life.
Earlier this year, the couple attended the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where Davido was nominated for Best African Music Performance. Though he didn’t win, he later revealed that Chioma encouraged him to attend despite his doubts, reminding him that there’s “victory in humility and grace in defeat.”
