Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has opened up about a deeply emotional experience following her recent outreach visit to National Hospital Abuja.
The movie star had earlier shared moments from her evangelism outreach at the hospital, where she visited the children’s and women’s wards. According to her, the pain she witnessed was visible and heavy, especially among the children. She revealed that at one point, she struggled to leave the ward because of how deeply it touched her heart.
During the visit, Tonto reportedly prayed with patients, laid hands on them, offered words of encouragement, and supported some families with financial gifts.
Now reflecting on the experience, the actress took to Instagram to publicly appreciate the hospital’s management and staff. She praised the leadership, doctors, nurses, heads of departments, and caregivers for their compassion and dedication.
In her message, she described the warm reception she received and commended the empathy shown to patients, especially women and children. She prayed for strength, blessings, and divine rewards for the medical team, applauding their daily sacrifice and commitment.
Beyond her hospital outreach, Tonto has been vocal about her spiritual journey. Recently, she celebrated completing a discipleship class, describing her walk with God as healing, stretching, and transformative.
She has also used her platform to challenge the belief that faith automatically equals financial struggle. According to her, her personal journey has brought restoration and unexpected blessings.
Earlier, a video of her praying passionately sparked mixed reactions online, with media personality N6 openly criticizing her. However, Tonto remained firm in her faith, reintroducing herself as a testimony of mercy and restoration.
For now, her visit to the hospital appears to be another chapter in what she describes as a mission-driven life — one focused on compassion, outreach, and gratitude.
