“If You Like, Show Up!” – Prophet Dangles ₦1m Before Busola Oke With No-Nonsense Deadline

Drama and destiny seem to be colliding for gospel singer Busola Oke, as popular cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele has publicly offered her ₦1 million — but with a firm condition attached.

After Busola emotionally opened up about her financial struggles and hinted at quitting music, the prophet stepped in with what many are calling a bold lifeline. His instruction? She must appear at his church on Sunday to receive the money. Miss the day, miss the offer. Simple.

Busola recently revealed she has been battling loneliness, depression, and serious financial strain. In a heartfelt interview, she admitted she’s drowning in debt, has no car, and struggles to afford the ₦55,000 daily hotel bill where she currently stays. Despite her pain, she insisted she isn’t someone who likes to beg for help.

The singer, famously known for her 2004 breakout hit “Eleyele,” once dominated the Yoruba gospel scene and became a household name across South-west Nigeria. But behind the glory, she says survival has become a daily battle.

Primate Ayodele made it clear his offer isn’t for publicity and comes with no strings attached beyond her physical presence at his church. “If you like, come; if you like, don’t come,” he said bluntly, adding that he won’t entertain her if she shows up after the set date.

Busola’s struggles have also been tangled in past controversies, including public disputes with music executive Gbenga Adewusi, where serious allegations were exchanged.

Now, the big question remains: Will Busola accept the offer and show up — or let the ₦1 million slip away?

One thing is certain: the internet is watching.
