Nollywood queen Iyabo Ojo is not holding back as she shuts down wild claims linking her to aphrodisiacs allegedly given to her goddaughter, Fola Tinubu Kayamata.
The drama started when an anonymous blog, Gistlover, accused Iyabo of giving Kayamata “Kayamata” to attract men, sparking a storm online. Responding via Instagram, Iyabo was blunt: the claims are from “the pit of hell” and she isn’t here for nonsense.
“First and foremost, Fola Tinubu is an adult. I don’t monitor anyone’s love life,” she stated. “I have never given her anything for sexual purposes. I don’t even use Kayamata myself — so how could I give what I don’t have?”
Iyabo clarified her goddaughter relationship, emphasizing that her support was purely about mentoring Fola in business and legal matters. She added a fiery warning to the rumor mongers: if the allegations were true, may God destroy her; if false, may God punish those spreading lies.
Beyond the controversy, Iyabo continues to make waves publicly. She recently showcased the revamped Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, stressing that her praise for the upgrades came from love for Nigeria, not payment.
The actress, who has faced intense scrutiny and even threats over the years — from Mohbad’s incident to wedding-related EFCC questioning — made it clear she won’t allow false narratives to tarnish her name or peace of mind.
Iyabo Ojo’s message? Mentorship and guidance don’t come with scandal — and she’s ready to clap back at anyone trying to twist her truth.
