Nollywood actress Didi Ekanem has fired shots at Rosy Meurer following her recent emotional outburst about her husband, Olakunle Churchill, and his reunion with his son from ex-wife Tonto Dikeh.
Rosy had taken to Instagram to defend herself against claims that she “snatched” Churchill from Tonto, insisting she met him separately and had no prior relationship with the actress. She also made it clear she knew about the father-son reunion in advance and fully supported it.
But Didi wasn’t impressed. She called out Rosy for waiting a whole decade to “tell her story”—only speaking up the moment Churchill reconciled and celebrated his first son.
“You had 10 years to tell your story, but never did. As soon as they reconciled and he’s finally getting the chance to celebrate his first son, boom. You decided to tell your story. We hear you!” she wrote.
Commentator Do2dtun also weighed in, saying if he were close to Rosy, he would have advised against the video, calling the timing and message tone “worthless.” He suggested she should have just embraced Churchill’s child as her own and been happy for the family moment.
For context: Churchill married Tonto in 2015, but the marriage ended after two years due to domestic issues. He later married Rosy, who has since been trolled and accused of “husband-snatching”—claims Churchill has denied.
Rosy’s recent videos appear to have reignited the long-running drama, but the internet is now split between those supporting her honesty and those slamming her timing.
