The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Benjamin Hundeyin, clarified that N100 million was mistakenly deposited into the bank account of Victor, the son of outgoing Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
Hundeyin explained that the error was quickly rectified after the outgoing IGP’s son noticed the unexpected transaction and reported it.
