Nigerian superstars Tems and Burna Boy have officially set a new record, becoming the African artists with the most entries ever on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100.
Previously tied at seven entries each with South African band Seether, the duo earned new spots this week thanks to their features on J. Cole’s album, The Fall-Off.
- Tems appeared on Bounce Road Blues alongside Future, which debuted at #34, bringing her total to 8 Hot 100 entries—the highest for any African artist this year. She also charted earlier with Raindance with Dave and What You Need.
- Burna Boy featured on Only You, debuting at #78, marking his 6th consecutive year with a Billboard Hot 100 entry—the first African artist to achieve this feat. His past hits include Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World & Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me & We Pray (2024), and WGFT (2025).
With this milestone, Tems and Burna Boy continue to cement Nigeria’s dominance on the global music stage, showcasing the country’s growing influence in international charts.
