On Thursday, April 9, 2026, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) conducted a sting operation that resulted in the arrest of 31 individuals suspected of internet fraud at an academy located in Becki Estate, Karu, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
