The controversy surrounding Blessing CEO has taken another dramatic turn, and now Daddy Freeze is speaking out.
After calls surfaced online urging the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to arrest him over his involvement in Blessing’s viral cancer claims, Freeze has finally broken his silence — and he is not backing down.
During a live session, Freeze questioned why he was being dragged into the mess, making it clear that he never solicited donations on her behalf. According to him, he simply believed her story at the time, just like many Nigerians did.
He admitted that the medical report Blessing showed him was the same one later exposed as fake, but insisted he had no reason to doubt her initially. Freeze maintained that cancer is too serious for anyone to lie about, adding that he still finds it hard to believe she would fabricate such a condition entirely.
Meanwhile, the scandal deepened after a doctor, through the Nigerian Medical Association, denied issuing any diagnosis to Blessing and accused her of manipulating medical documents. The revelation has fueled public outrage, with many demanding accountability.
Despite the backlash, Blessing has remained defiant in past statements, even admitting she received millions in donations while refusing to apologise.
Now, with authorities being dragged into the conversation and public trust already shaken, the situation is spiraling fast. The big question remains — who truly knew what, and who will face the consequences when this storm settles?
