Nigerian doctor Dr. Adefunke Arowolo publicly debunked Blessing CEO’s claims of battling stage 4 breast cancer during an Arise TV interview on April 4.
Blessing had presented a medical report to support her claims. However, Dr. Arowolo revealed that the report was fraudulent:
- The doctor named in the report is based in Asaba, Delta State, not Enugu as Blessing claimed.
- The original patient whose report was used had been treated by Dr. Okigwe in Asaba. Blessing allegedly altered the address while keeping the doctor’s name and signature.
- Dr. Arowolo confirmed he had no connection to Blessing or the test results.
Prior to this, Blessing admitted in an Egugun interview that she made N13 million in donations, claiming she misunderstood her doctor’s initial information about lumps in her breast. She insisted she wouldn’t apologise for receiving the money, despite exaggerating her condition.
The exposure has intensified public backlash, highlighting concerns about fraud and manipulation of public sympathy.
