Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has humorously cried out to Nigerians, claiming she has hit “stage 20 sapa,” a slang term for extreme financial brokenness, and is seeking support.
Sharing a filtered video on Instagram, she said:
“Stage 20 sapa. Hmmmm…OMOGE LEKKI drops April 5th on Nkechi Blessing TV YouTube channel…Pls subscribe and turn on post notifications!!!”
The video comes amid ongoing tension with her fellow actress, Blessing CEO, with whom she has had a long-running feud. Nkechi has often mocked her namesake, highlighting contradictions between Blessing’s public persona and her private actions.
Last week, Blessing CEO shared her battle with stage 4 breast cancer, eliciting sympathy from Nigerians. Nkechi Blessing, however, has maintained her humorous and cheeky commentary, poking subtle jabs at Blessing while simultaneously engaging fans with her content.
The two actresses have had a volatile history, including a public spat in 2023 over social media comments and an attempted confrontation at Blessing’s office. Despite a brief reconciliation at Priscilla Ojo’s wedding, shade and playful rivalry appear to continue.
