A die-hard fan of Sophia Momodu, known online as Jenny Block Blog, has publicly withdrawn her support for the fashion entrepreneur after music superstar Davido reportedly dragged her to court.
Jenny shared a screenshot of the lawsuit on Instagram, pleading with Davido to drop the case, explaining that she is fatherless and lacks the money, strength, and heart to continue the battle. She stressed that she meant no harm and has only been supporting Sophia and her daughter amidst constant online bullying.

“This is now getting dangerous, and I wish to withdraw my support… I am only a fan defending attacks. I don’t start anything, I don’t go for anybody. Please let me go, @davido.”
In another post, Jenny questioned when being a fan became a crime, noting that a warrant has been issued for her arrest simply for supporting Sophia.
Legal Context
The custody battle between Davido and Sophia Momodu has been ongoing, with the singer seeking joint custody of their daughter, Imade. Earlier this year, Davido reportedly lost his cool during a cross-examination in court in Yaba, but later assured that he wanted the best for his daughter.

Sophia’s legal team warned that inflammatory public statements against her could threaten the judicial process. Meanwhile, Sophia’s lawyer, Bella Chukwu, filed a separate lawsuit against Davido for cyberbullying, defamation, harassment, and threats, demanding a public apology and retraction.
Background
- In 2024, Davido demanded joint custody of Imade, claiming Sophia denied him access and allegedly extorted him. Sophia opposed, citing concerns including the death of his son.
- Last year, the former couple reunited for Imade’s 10th birthday, posing for photos while maintaining social distance.

Jenny’s withdrawal underscores how high-profile custody battles can affect not just the parents but fans and followers who become embroiled in controversies online.
