Nollywood veteran Fausat Balogun couldn’t hold back her emotions during a heartfelt visit to new mother Toyosi Adesanya. The actress broke down in tears while hugging Toyosi, capturing a deeply emotional moment that has since melted hearts online.
Toyosi, who welcomed her first child — a baby girl — through surrogacy, shared the struggles she faced on the day of delivery, confessing, “The day I gave birth, there was no money.” She expressed immense gratitude to Fausat for standing by her side and offering prayers and support during the challenging journey.

Colleagues Rally Around Toyosi
Since the joyous arrival of her daughter, several Nollywood stars have visited Toyosi to celebrate with her. Clips surfaced online showing Antar Laniyan, Bimbo Oshin, Folorunsho Adeola, and others paying their respects. Odunlade Adekola also delighted fans with a heartwarming video, bringing laughter and smiles into the home.
Peju Ogunmola, who recently lost her only child, shared a poignant visit, cradling the newborn with care. Meanwhile, Muyiwa Ademola set the tone for generous gifts, sending N200,000 as the first deposit into the baby’s account, leaving Toyosi visibly touched by the support.
Journey to Motherhood
The joyous day was the result of nearly two decades of perseverance. Toyosi recounted her journey to motherhood, which began in 2008. She faced multiple hurdles, including laparoscopy, dye tests, and failed IVF attempts. She sold her gold jewelry and pooled funds from her boutique to pursue the dream of becoming a mother — a dream that finally came true.
Toyosi’s story is a testament to resilience, hope, and the power of community support, and the emotional reunion with Fausat Balogun only highlighted the bonds of sisterhood in Nollywood.
