Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has taken a moment to write to her late mother after landing a major role in EbonyLife Studios’s upcoming project, The Secret Life of Baba Segi’s Wives.
The actress shared her excitement on social media while picking up her script, describing the opportunity as a dream come true and expressing heartfelt gratitude to God:
“Dear mummy in heaven… Today I picked up my script for the most anticipated movie of the year. This is indeed a big deal for me, and I can’t even hide my joy.”
Nkechi Blessing also teased fans, saying she’s preparing a speech for the movie’s release and warned them to “be very ready to be sick of me.”
This milestone comes after a challenging year for the actress. Last year, she revealed that she nearly quit producing movies after spending over ₦80 million without seeing returns. Despite the setbacks and attempts to tarnish her brand, NBS credits her persistence and faith for turning things around:
“Delay is not denial. God’s timing is perfect.”
With this new deal under her belt, Nkechi Blessing is set to shine even brighter in Nollywood.
