Nigerian singer Crayon has set social media ablaze with shocking claims against his former label boss, Don Jazzy, and Mavins Records. The 2019 signee took to Twitter with now-deleted posts accusing the label of owing him unpaid royalties, claiming they collected $200 million without giving him a cent, and alleging that the stress contributed to his mother’s death.
“Una collected 200 million dollars, no give me shishi!! My mama died because of una!! Heads go roll! Mavin is going down!!” Crayon fumed online, calling out executives like Tega and Vaeclar by name.

This isn’t the first time Nigerian artists have aired royalty grievances. Laycon previously called out DJ Neptune over delayed payments, Harrysong clashed with Kcee over unreleased songs, and Napji accused Davido of withholding royalties from hit tracks like Fem, Jowo, and Sunlight.

Fans are already speculating if this signals a major shake-up at Mavins, as Crayon vows to bring the label down and prays for divine justice. The music industry is watching closely—this drama is far from over.
