Nollywood actress Judy Austin has sparked conversation online after sharing her thoughts about the negative impact of social media on people’s lives.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress stated that social media has made many people lose their true identity. According to her, constant pressure from online expectations has turned many individuals into “shadows” of who they really are.

In her words, she encouraged followers to reconnect with themselves and focus on living authentically instead of trying to impress others online.
“Social media has made so many people a shadow of themselves.
Remember who you are and start living for you while you still can.”
The actress, who is married to Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has in recent times been sharing motivational advice about relationships, marriage, and personal growth.
A few weeks ago, Judy advised couples to be intentional about nurturing their relationships if they want lasting marriages. She stressed that many people prefer playing the victim instead of putting effort into making their relationships work.
During the period when singer 2Baba and his wife Annie Idibia faced marital issues, Judy also advised people to pray for genuine love as much as they pray for financial success. According to her, having love, faith, and financial stability is key to living a fulfilling life.
Judy has also previously warned young women against living reckless lifestyles due to peer pressure, urging them to avoid decisions that could lead to self-destruction.
Her relationship with Yul Edochie previously stirred major controversy after it became public while he was still married to his first wife, May Edochie, with whom he shares four children.

Despite the backlash over the years, Judy Austin continues to use her social media platforms to share messages about life, love, and self-awareness. ✨
