Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong recently shared insights into his marriage with wife, Toyosi Etim Effiong, during an interview on the Mansplanation podcast. The actor described their relationship as a “working partnership” and likened it to a business built on love, commitment, and mutual respect.
“What I have with my wife is a working relationship. It’s a partnership, it’s a business, an enterprise, that is founded on love. We decided that we are going to build this family.”
Daniel emphasized that marriage is more than romance—it is an intentional collaboration requiring constant communication and effort. He revealed that while he may feel attraction to others, this doesn’t equate to love, distinguishing between being “in love” and “loving someone.”
The actor also made a striking revelation, stating that he prioritizes his wife above his children, though his kids still hold a special place in his heart. His wife, Toyosi, expressed admiration for him on Instagram, noting the excitement she feels even seeing his pictures on Netflix despite their close daily life.
In 2024, the couple welcomed their third child, a baby girl, celebrating their growing family publicly on Instagram. Daniel also shared candidly about their active sex life, linking it to his Calabar heritage and high libido.
