Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has broken her silence following the wave of criticism over her recent deliverance session at a school.
The actress, who has recently embraced a devoted Christian life, shared new footage from the outreach on Instagram, giving glory to God for the outcome.

In her post, Tonto emphasized that the miraculous event was purely “the hand of God moving among His children” and not by human strength or planning. She expressed gratitude for being used as a vessel, noting the impact on the children and the lives touched.
She wrote:
“God alone did it. May His name forever be praised… Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.” — Zechariah 4:6.
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1.

Tonto’s focus, she insists, remains on Jesus and her divine assignment, despite public criticism. Activists like Doris Ogala and Very Dark Man condemned the school deliverance, claiming children were being exploited for content. Nollywood actress Angela Eguavoen and others have also weighed in, sparking a mix of reactions online.
The movie star, who recently dropped the ‘King’ from her name to become Evangelist Tonto Dikeh, has fully embraced her spiritual journey. Since turning 40, she has dedicated herself to Christianity, completing a Discipleship class and publicly sharing her testimony of deliverance from addiction and struggles with alcoholism and masturbation.
Tonto continues to inspire many with her call to deepen prayer lives and embrace God’s work, insisting her mission is about touching lives, not chasing clout.
