Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo is taking a nostalgic look back at her pregnancy days, sharing a heartfelt throwback video from her maternity shoot on Instagram.
The mother of two described the birth of her daughter as a miracle, saying, “This season will forever be special to me.”
Mercy ended her post with a prayer for women trying to conceive and expectant mothers:
“To every woman waiting, praying, and believing God for the fruit of the womb, I pray the Lord visits you with joy and gladness. May your waiting season turn into a season of celebration… Lord, I pray for every pregnant mother. Strengthen them, protect them, and grant them safe and joyful delivery.”
The singer and her husband, Pastor Blessed, welcomed their second child, a baby girl, last year, following the birth of their first child in 2023. Mercy and her husband celebrated their third wedding anniversary in August, marking years of love, grace, and God’s purpose guiding their lives.
The couple’s wedding, held in Mercy’s hometown of Port Harcourt, drew a star-studded guest list including Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Waje, and Joe Praiz.
