Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has dismissed claims that the lady who accused him of rape has been sentenced to six years in prison.
Taking to Instagram, Paul labeled the reports “fake news”, clarifying that no such court ruling exists.
The controversy stems from Paul’s past divorce from his ex-wife, Anita Okoye, who in her court filings accused him of having an affair with their housemaid, Florence. During the proceedings, Paul reportedly admitted to controlling actions against Anita to ensure she had no support.
In other recent statements, Paul has shared his views on relationships and society, criticizing modern attitudes toward comparison, maturity, and financial dependency in partnerships.
