Nollywood personality Yinka Theisen, ex-fiancée of actor Linc Edochie, has finally broken her silence on what led to their breakup after less than a year together.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Yinka clarified that their split was not due to a lack of love, but rather Linc’s inability to stand up to bullies. She expressed that this limitation upset her, but she maintains no bitterness, acknowledging that every good woman deserves better.
“Things happened behind the scenes that none of you will ever know… Linc was merely a bait God used to get me to where I am today,” she wrote. Yinka also stressed that May Edochie or her followers did not end their relationship, asking the public to stop labeling Linc as an opportunist.
The actress revealed that she is now focused on finding the right partner, with a clear list of qualities she seeks. She emphasized her support for Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, saying it’s unwavering and unrelated to her past with Linc.
A few days prior, Yinka had sent a direct message to Linc, urging him to respect her need to move on while highlighting his responsibilities as a father to his two young daughters.
Yinka and Linc were engaged in June 2025, but her public support for other couples in the Edochie family stirred controversy among May Edochie’s followers. Yinka also addressed past accusations against her, including claims that she leaked family phone numbers, which she firmly denied, and suggested internal family tensions fueled the drama.
Through it all, Yinka Theisen presents herself as strong, faith-driven, and determined to move forward — making it clear that her breakup was a stepping stone, not a setback.
