Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has officially ditched the “King” in her name after 8 years, embracing a bold new spiritual identity. The actress announced that she will now be addressed as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh, or simply Tonto Dikeh, Aunty Tonto, or Big T — all in obedience to the Holy Spirit.
Taking to social media, Tonto declared:
“From today onward, I will no longer be addressed as ‘King Tonto Dikeh’. In alignment with God’s will, you can call me the woman of God, Evangelist Tonto, Tonto Dikeh, Aunty Tonto, or Big T. This is God’s instruction.”

The 40-year-old actress, who has been on a remarkable spiritual journey since last year, described her transformation as healing, overwhelming, and life-changing. Since embracing Christianity, Tonto has renounced her previous controversial lifestyle, completed a Discipleship class, and publicly shared testimonies of overcoming addiction, alcoholism, and personal struggles that plagued her for decades.
In her heartfelt message, she urged Christians to deepen their prayer lives and embrace miracles, revealing how God restored her destiny, her child, and her life.
