No filters. No apologies. No pity party.
Desola Afod, wife of Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, has finally broken her silence — and she did it in the boldest way possible.
After days of online attacks and name-calling, the mother of three took to Instagram to address critics head-on. In a shocking twist, she sarcastically accepted every label thrown at her — calling herself “local,” “razz,” and even “olosho.”
But here’s the kicker.
Desola declared that if that’s what people want to call her, then so be it — because the “business,” according to her, is lucrative enough to fund her lifestyle, care for her children, and maintain her home single-handedly.

She told trolls to venture into it themselves and leave her alone.
Her fiery message didn’t stop there. She made it clear that while people are free to gossip on blogs, invading her private space is off-limits. According to her, silence is no longer golden, and she refuses to be bullied into submission.
The outspoken mother also cursed out critics who advised her to drop her husband’s surname amid speculations about the state of her marriage.
For months, social media users have questioned her relationship with Kunle Afod, especially after the couple stopped posting each other online. Rumours have swirled — from alleged affairs to reconciliation hints — but Desola seems unfazed.

Recently, she shared a cozy video with her husband in their car, subtly hinting that all may be well. At another point, she proudly tagged herself “the celeb wife,” reminding critics that it’s her life, her style, and her rules.
This isn’t the first time the Afods have faced controversy. In 2024, Kunle publicly dismissed rumours of secret pregnancies and alleged extramarital affairs, describing the supposed women as “ghosts.”
Through it all, Desola has maintained one stance: nobody can bully her off her throne.
Love her or hate her, one thing is clear — Desola Afod is choosing boldness over silence, and she’s not backing down anytime soon.
