Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has taken her faith and generosity to a new level, touching hearts at the National Hospital, Abuja. In videos shared on her Instagram, the actress was seen visiting children and women’s wards, praying, laying hands on patients, and blessing some with cash and gifts.
Tonto expressed deep emotion at the sight of children battling life-threatening illnesses, revealing that she couldn’t walk away from the children’s ward without offering support. She wrote:
“Today we stepped into the children and women’s wards… nothing prepared me for the sight of those precious children fighting battles too heavy for their little bodies… We didn’t just pray, we acted in love. Sometimes, ‘something’ becomes the miracle someone prayed for.”
Accompanied by her team, Tonto also helped families with hospital bills, calling on El-Roi, the God Who Sees, as she extended hope and compassion to the patients. She acknowledged the hospital staff, her team, and her parents for instilling in her a sense of service and impact.
Beyond charity, Tonto used the visit to inspire believers worldwide, sharing her testimony of spiritual and financial blessings since dedicating her life to Christ. She encouraged Christians to deepen their prayer lives and embrace miracles, describing her journey as “the most healing, stretching, overwhelming, and beautiful experience” of her life.
Despite criticism from some online, the actress remains undeterred, presenting herself as a living testimony of mercy, restoration, and divine purpose — a reminder that acts of love can transform lives in tangible and profound ways.
