Nigerian singer Primeboy, a close friend and collaborator of the late Mohbad, has staged a protest over the prolonged delay in giving the late artiste a proper burial—nearly three years after his death.
During the demonstration, Primeboy expressed frustration that while Mohbad’s family seems to have moved on, the singer’s remains are still in the mortuary. He insisted that Mohbad deserves a dignified and final resting place, emphasizing that the delay disrespects both his memory and the fans who loved him.

Primeboy argued that uncertainty surrounding Mohbad’s death should not prevent closure for those who genuinely cared about the late singer. Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Aloba, had been a rising star in the Nigerian music scene before his untimely passing, which sent shockwaves across the country and triggered demands for proper investigations.
The protest has reignited debate online: some fans fully support Primeboy’s call for immediate burial, while others insist legal and investigative processes must conclude first.
